SIP SIP HOORAY: Kentucky Derby Inspired Cocktails
With Spring officially sprung and lockdown level 2 seeing the alcohol ban being lifted, we figured it was fitting to provide a refreshing Cocktail recipe for those sunny South African weekends (…with an equestrian twist of course).
The Kentucky Derby takes place in May every year, but due to the Covid-19 Pandemic it now takes place on the 5th of September at Churchill Downs Racetrack. On race day, Churchill Downs serves up 120,000 Mint Juleps and 40,000 of the lesser-known Oaks Lily cocktails… so grab your shaker and some ice and let Derby-fever begin!
